Alpaca Audiology is looking for an energetic, compassionate Audiologist who wants to be a part of the fastest growing private Audiology Care group in the USA.
This opportunity is for a Hearing Care Provider to work in our Topsham, ME location.

The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and willing to work with the leading hearing aid manufacturers. We are looking for someone who can work independently who excels in building patient rapport and has dispensing/closing skills. They will be responsible for the daily audiological tasks as well as performing in community outreach projects and working with the Alpaca Audiology team to ensure the success of their clinic.
Salary: $68,000-$80,000 + Sales Incentive Plan
Essential Functions:
- Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend varied treatment and product options
- Address patient’s questions and concerns regarding benefits of Hearing Aid use
- Discuss pricing of hearing instruments, presenting the value of hearing health care, your services, and the long term effects of hearing aid use
- Community outreach efforts to generate new patient referrals
- Teach patients how to best utilize the new technology in order to meet their hearing goals
- Hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings.
- Perform needed adjustments to fitted products; comply with all procedural company quality standards and guidelines to maximize product performance and overcome patient concerns/objections.
- With direct support of clinic staff, ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications/Requirements
- Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Maine
- Doctorate in Audiology preferred
- 3rd and 4th year Audiology Externs encouraged to apply

Speech/Language Pathologist

- Assess speech and language skills, development, articulation ability and voice and fluency disorders of individuals served.
- Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
- Review medical records, test and evaluate individuals served and develop therapy treatment plans.
- Identify and develop intervention strategies.
- Instruct individuals we serve, family members, and primary caregivers to insure the maintenance of or to achieve the ideal functioning level for each person served.
- Insure effective coordination of individual’s served home care services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology
- One year experience as a Speech Therapist
- Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach

Remote Speech Therapist
- Administer school-based evaluations and IEP-directed therapy services
- Provide timely documentation, session notes, and ongoing communication with teachers, parents of your students
